Did you enjoy the book? Please consider writing a review wherever you share your thoughts as a reader!
When we set out on the path to share our memoirs from this eight years and eight members strong writer's group, no one knew we'd end up with exactly 40 selected stories between us. A Lenten launch seems appropriate! As the Reverend Martha Sterne says about the craft of memoir writing in her introduction, "Believe me. You are the keeper of treasures."
We have stories for everyone: about love and war, art and the environment, thrilling near death experiences and faith, life journeys, struggles and triumphs that span nearly a century. The cover is ready, thanks to Nanette Littlestone and Words of Passion! All proceeds from the sales of this book will be donated to important Outreach for those in need through our beloved Holy Innocents' Episcopal Church where we meet weekly to gather around the coffee pot and share the words. Instructors, Carolyn Fore, PhD, and Sally Parsonson, PhD, and members, Tony Clarke, Janet Wilson, Jeannie Longley, Beverly Baker, Stefan Fatzinger and Christy Knight welcome you into our world of words.
